113 Dyna vs 120R road glide …… What would the out come be?
Just curious
……. in a drag race, the Dyna might be 1st
…… in a 'full-tank'a-gas' distance run, the RG takes it w/no question
…… once you got to speed & had the cruise on, you could one hand it & eat up miles till the low-fuel lite came on

Too many variables.... Would need more information than just the displacements and bikes.

The 113 could make 100 HP or it could make 130 HP...
The 120R could make 115 HP or it could make 145 HP...

friend of mine rides a custom 01 dyna with a s&s 113.

my 13 Rg with around 110/110

pulls evenly with him all day until 120. then he pulls until he cant feel his hands anymore.

i think is motor is getting a little tired close to 30k on the build

you are correct there are variables.
It was just a fun day for us. Meet him when he passed me and we started playing.
Did a roll on at 10 mph for fun.
This was the first 120r I have come up against. I expected to get smoked all the way up.
my 113 was built with tq.. in mind. Hp is okay on it around 125hp but the tq.. is really good probably around 138 TQ. +
I do not have much confidence in dyno numbers they are only good to tune from, nothing more.
I let him hit it first, caught him when i was going to second and each gear I would jump farther ahead.
I was stroked that he did not eat me.
Top end, I have no clue. He would most likely get me hard. I don't go past 125mph but I do know there is a lot more there. A lot more.
I like quick, not fast.
My biggest problem is traction. I need to do a 180 kit on it. Then maybe I can get serious.
110, 110 is pretty good. That is close to what we got out of our SS106 wide glide. But I don't believe in Dyno numbers other than tuning.
