Can you tune in MPH scale?

I had my bike tuned on a dyno and to me it seemed like the guy was struggling to correct the a\f ratio. He seemed frustrated. If the pciii fuel table is in throttle position and RPM and dyno runs are in MPH how would you know what boxes to adjust? was this his problem? Why are my sheets all in MPH? All the sheets I see on this site are in RPM. Any knowledgeable advice would be appreciated Thanks,

yes it could have MPH runs and still be tuned correct. the wot runs can be in time, rpm's,speed. he probably just didnt click "rpm" before he printed the sheet.

but if you hung around and watched him tune and he returned your bike within 2-3 hrs. chances are you didnt get a complete tune.

Yes, You're right 2 1/2 hours just trying to get a nice WOT a/f line. And its all over the place! This was supposed to be a custom advanced map, for street performance, and rideability. Tuning one throttle position (WOT) across the board doesn't seem so hard to me? I figured tuning part throttle (real world) performance is where the talent/experience would come in to play. Bike ran so bad I had to reload the generic map from the web just to be rideable! I'm not new to tuning bikes, just new to dyno tuning and the process. I feel like I'm wasting my hard earned money on incompetence! Screw the numbers, I want a strong running bike!
