Big fan of the show, I'll have to check out that episode. I have a '96 Sportster about to land in my garage to go under my knife so it will nice to see some of the things they did with it at Gas Monkey.

 

It is one of my favorite shows also, but that sporty he customized was an "S" model, I thought it was a shame to ruin one of the best sporties made, there are hundreds of regular sportsters available cheap to cut up. It did look great but he coulda made any sportster look like that.

 

S&S makes a 100 inch Sportster engine.

 

I like watching the show but Richard Rawlings is a bit of a dick head! it's all about ... me, me ,me. If he runs his hands through his hair one more time I hope it come off!

 

I think that's just part of the show's schtick, kinda like all the high-dollar goofing off that happens when he's away. He'd go broke and stay in court being sued if his employees were that irresponsible. If that were real, he'd have to fire all of them. Even the genius shop manager (I forget the bearded wonder's name) ignores his orders.

I like the show, but I'm not crazy about this season's changes. It's almost turned into a self-parody in just a few episodes. Also, I'm in it for the cars. I don't give a damn about his new bar.

Would of been nice if they milled the left side brake mount off since they did not use it and have the tools. I cant stand seeing bikes with brake mounts and no caliper attached! They can do better than that!

 

That's been a beef of mine since the show started. I remember a 'restoration' from an early episode. They didn't bother repainting the underside of the hood.

There's a reason, I guess, why the show isn't called 'Fast and Foose'. I can't imagine Chip taking those cheesy shortcuts.

I could do without the twit tweets too.

Richard can't be this dumb. I kinda think he knows it ain't gonna last, and is just enjoying the ride.

The show got old to me a while back. Same old, same old. I can only watch so many scripted "car hunts" and manufactured "deadline squeakers". And ya, the hair thing too!

 

as with all them kind of shows, the Discovery Channel runs it, they pretty much have the last say I do think.-2$en#e-

 

I like the show because it's entertaining. I kinda put it on the same level as Duck Dynasty - not true reality but nobody would watch if it was.

 

It may not sound like it, but I like it too.

I think Duck Dynasty is about on the same level as Tickle, I can't watch the Duck show but I'll admit I get a chuckle out of Tickle...

 

I tried watching the new Tickle show but it was just too stupid for me. I did like the show he came off - Moonshiners I think.

 

Its interesting to see how many bikes and cars that are "unfinished" are accepted as "show" pieces. I see a huge gap between the "Foose" type customs and these "unfinished" types. Ill be at Sema in 2 weeks, and the number of "unfinished" cars seams to continue to creep into what was once for only "finished" cars/bikes......Just not my thing. I like them done to the 9s!

 

I like the show...I'd have a few beers with Richard ..I think he 'a enjoying the show and couldn't give 2 craps what anybody thinks .. He does a hell of a doughnut too

 

i agree,, the patina thing is just lazy. i'd also like to see another show with vida guerra in it! whew, that's a nice bottom end..

 

That '60 BelAir was real nice, before and after they worked it.

The sh!t work they do on that show only raises the value of my cars.

But I too enjoy the show for entertainment value.

I'd have a beer or two with those guys, no way I'm snorting bourbon though!

 

Those bourbon snorts were 'bout stupid, weren't they? But damn funny.

I think that restaurant is just about his speed, more so than the cars. I'm not criticizing, just saying. I can see him hanging around- wiping the bar, telling stories, getting fat, and hitting on girls. And getting sadder as he gets older and softer and the ol' charm quits working.

That bike is one thing they built i realy didnt like{sorry aaron}. But its a good show and i watch it all the time.What the hell happened to turn and burn with Bother J D only a few episodes of that show
