Put on a new S&S Super E carb on my 78 Shovelhead (74"). Installed as per instructions. Got it up to operating temperature, and adjusted the air/fuel mixture screw and idle. Sounds great, good throttle response. My question-when I adjust the diagram pump screw, the motor stalls. Turn it back out 2 full turns and starts right up. The instructions say to close it all the way and to turn out 1/4-1/2 turn at a time. Am I missing something? Seems to run perfect at 2 turns out from seated position. Won't run with it closed like instructions say.

hold your finger on the browser line on top....release...it'll turn blue....hit it again....release. nd you can select all....copy.....go to post.....put in finger in the text body....paste and tada .

just bump the browser line with your finger...then hold it on there to get the options.Thanks. I was trying that. Maybe fingers were too cold...
