Anyone know where I could get my cylinders bored close to Dayton, OH? Just trying to save packaging time and waiting to ship there and back.
:thanks:

Heard some bad things about F&S. Not sure if they are true or not.

Atwood is a sponser here...but i read a post of his saying he only does heads right now...of which i've heard good things about...

he's around Columbus...I'm sure he would know of a reputable place...
Last I talked with Arn he was only doing heads. But he would know who does boring in Ohio.

You know. You might want to checkout HDWrench with the 98" kits that he sells. go to www.gmrperformance.com and send him an email about what he has to offer.

I know that the Carquest store in Richmond, IN on the west side has a machine shop that bores cylinders. I also know that they have the torque plates to do it with. But I don't know how good they are. I used to work there when it was Rodefelds. Back then it was a really good machine shop but I don't know anymore. Their number is 765-966-1571. If you call them ask for Doug in the machine shop. Store manager is Duane McDonald. Both very nice people. That would only be about a 45 min. drive for you. Also you might try Kopp Cycles in Batesville, IN, a little farther drive and I don't know for sure that they do boring, but they are extremely nice people and a power commander tuning center. I've heard good things about them.
